This book was written by Ms. Roberta Andresen from her own experience of dealing with her grandchildren following the death of her 26 year old son, Walter Loveday Jr., from cancer in 1993.

This book is a total guide in dealing with death/children. The story describes how to explain death effectively to children of all ages. It explains the separation between body and soul/spirit so children can understand and deal with the process.

This book gives knowledge of the afterlife, of funeral rites, then a meaningful way to say good-bye. The book explains what a child will see during a Funeral and answers all questions concerning burial of a loved one. The book uses examples and illustrations that wiill prevent most of the fear that children can associate with death and describes way to express continued love for the deceased. This brings peace and contentment to a child facing their first encounter with a death experience.

A must for such a vulnerable time.

The book begins with a Forward of instructional educational information for the adults in the child's world. Then the story begins which is written so a child can read it or have it read to a child.
